About me

This is my blurb. You don't have to read it if you don't want to.

Hi, I'm Colin Brett, an aspiring author based in Peterborough, UK.

​

I've been a number of things in my life, a student, a decorator's assistant, a factory worker but mostly an IT systems administrator in a variety of roles and industries. I'm a role-player, a 'dungeon master', a wargamer, a painter of wargames miniatures, a great fan of rock music, an avid reader and movie-goer.

​

Throughout all these phases, I've been writing, often for RPGs or wargames, sometimes for my own interest and, once, to lay my own ghosts to rest.

​

Now, in my mid-fifties, I've reached a point where the life-long hobby of writing is turning into a career or, at least, a second string to my bow.

​

What you'll find here are excerpts of on-going projects, stories developed from some of the roleplaying games I've been part of, and full-blown works written for other creators and books. You can even find one of my short stories on Amazon, in a collaborative collection called Twelve Days .

I hope you find something here to pique your interest, something you can enjoy, find funny, thought-provoking and adventurous.
